So today we took a taxi to Berenice beach club 6 dinars. I was looking forward to it because the public beaches are dirty and sometimes crowded. At the entry a security man said that there is only entry for families.
I was there with a friend of mine who is Palestinian and he discussed on Arabic if it's possible. Then we were told to go to the ticket office. There an arrogant and very unfriendly man forbid us the entry because we are not a family. So it's not possible for two friends or more to have fun in it, I'm really disappointed and can just say that this is the wrong way.
I went to beach clubs in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Egypt and never had a problem I'll never come here again. You're not always welcome. If you like burgers and dance music and swimming pools and having people around this place is the one in Aqaba.
If you prefer peace and quiet and a peaceful reef maybe not. Dive centre is good though you have to pay the same 10 JOD admission to access it. Nolomb 26 contributions. The bus didn't pick us up in the morning, so after 30min we paid for a taxi to go there. Apparently we couldn't enter with food or snacks, which we brought with us to avoid using their pricy restaurant.

Charged 10JD by our hotel for entry here but transport was free. Food was nice, drinks were expensive even in happy hour.
Interesting mix of local and foreign families; the beach like most places in Jordan was not as clean as it could have been but not too bad. The 2nd time it came on we asked for it to be taken off but after the 5th we decided to leave.
The manager said he understood how it was offensive but most didn't, as if that was OK! Made us all feel really uncomfortable in what should have been a family atmosphere. Ice cream very expensive as well, staff not particularly welcoming. If I want to listen to music why can't I choose to listen on a personal stereo. Too loud by the pool, you could still hear the music whilst wearing headphones. Asked if they could turn down volume, rely was the owner would not allow it. We were playing darts and had a lot of fun there. And after all we got a free shuttle to the city. It was a nice day. Also I suggest everyone to take care of your feet because of the corals in the water. They are protected so they are not allowed to remove them. Hello Anton, 1- Life jackets can be rented from the beach in addition to snorkeling kits and any other snorkeling related equipment 2- Activities can be booked on the spot depending on availability including boat excursions, water sports, beach activities etc. Read all replies.
