Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the paths or learn more about the environment through educational programs. Cherry blossoms line both sides of Yeojwacheon Stream to form a white tunnel, making it the best cherry blossom attraction in Jinhae. In the evening, the area is illuminated with ornamental lights, creating a romantic ambience. Korea Naval Academy and Naval Base Headquarters are popular as unique attractions due to the fact that they are open to the public only during the festival period.
Compared with other cherry blossom attractions in the city, this is a bit of a hidden spot, perfect for enjoying the flowers. In particular, the nightscape of Jinhae from the hilltop is famous for its mesmerizing beauty. The most beautiful thing in Zhenhai is the cherry blossom trees. This place is also planted with a lot of good varieties. The urban area is quite large.
It is very popular in spring, and it is also the time with the most tourists, which is very interesting. I went to Zhenhai to see the cherry blossoms for two years. Last year, I went with the overnight bus tour and started to see it at 7 o'clock in the morning from Seoul in the middle of the night. This year, I took a bus from Busan. It just happened to be full and I saw wind and snow. Beauty is beautiful, but there are too many people.
Because the most beautiful cherry blossoms are on the road. For example, a few streets next to Yu Zuochuan, or walking along the train track, you will find some unexpected surprises, and find a lot of sense of 5 cm per second lens.
Zhenhai is a quiet town. If time permits, walk slowly and appreciate it, and you will see the most beautiful Zhenhai.

A parade of parasols, in case it rains. You can go down and walk alongside the stream as well. Rope lights in the shape of bicycles. These must have been stunning at night, especially with all the lights illuminating the cherry blossom trees.
Is it even possible to take a bad shot of a cherry blossom? I could have spent an entire day here just shooting these things. We were still a couple of days away from the actual festival but many Korean street food carts were already set up.
Tornado potato. Think of it as a cross between french fries and potato chips. Daring eaters can try beongdegi , a snack of stewed silkworm larvae. These are becoming increasingly hard to find in Seoul but they were ubiquitous here. I loved these. Absolutely delicious.
This kinky-looking ice cream cone is known as Jipangyi cane ice cream. Jinhae selfie, to commemorate a special day. Even on the bus, I was still praying for cherry blossoms. What we saw exceeded our expectations. So grateful to have experienced this! These Changwon and Masan buses have different operators from the Jinhae bus and they allow you to buy your bus tickets in advance at the station in Seoul. With return bus tickets already in my pocket, we spent as much time as we could in Jinhae before taking a taxi to Changwon to catch our 3 PM bus back to Seoul. My Korean sister-in-law was the one who suggested that we go back to Seoul via Changwon. What an awesome suggestion that turned out to be. A whole shitload of them. On either side of the main road to the bus station was a row of cherry blossom trees, all in full bloom. They were even more spectacular than the ones in Jinhae! We must have driven along this main road for a good 10 mins and there was no end in sight to the cherry blossoms.
The taxi dropped us off here. The bus station is on the left. We thought that the trees in Jinhae were already stunning but these were something else. They become a soft pale pink, almost white. I wonder how many paintings, songs, and poems were inspired by the fleeting beauty of these cherry blossoms. I felt like I was in some fairy tale. So awesome.
